The G20, comprising 19 countries and the European Union, has recognized the importance of Industry 4.0 in shaping the future of economies and industries globally. With the fourth industrial revolution ‘Industry 4.0’ characterized by integrating digital technologies, automation, data exchange, and artificial intelligence into manufacturing and other sectors, it is also imperative to address environmental challenges, promote social inclusion, and bridge the digital divide between developed and developing countries.
In the era of achieving SDGs, the term sustainability encompasses environmental, social, and economic dimensions, and the G20's discussions and initiatives reflect this holistic approach. The discussions and practices of G20 address sustainability via climate change mitigation and adaption, green finance and investments, corporate sustainability and responsible business practices, inclusive growth and social development, and international cooperation and partnership.
Considering the importance of integrating environmental, social, and economic considerations for long-term prosperity and well-being, sustainability in management and economics is a critical topic that the G20 has addressed in various contexts due to its global implications. Henceforth, this book entitled “G20, Sustainability in Management and Economics: Future Agendas and Prospects” attempts to discuss numerous crucial aspects and future prospects and agendas of G20 that play a significant role in shaping international policies related to sustainability in management and economics.
Dr. Sarika Kumar, holds a doctorate degree from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhiin the field Finance and is currently working with ATLAS SkillTech University, Mumbai. Her research specialization in in Mergers and acquisition, sustainability, firm performance and corporate Governance, international business, macro economics, and micro economics. Dr Kumar gained position of fourth university topper during her Masters of arts studies. She bears a research experience from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), New Delhi, Poznan university of economics. She bears a 3 years of teaching experience with University of Delhi as Assistant Professor pots PhD. She actively contributes to the research community by her published research papers in peer reviewed ABDC -A and B listed journals. She also has represented her research papers in international conferences, AIB and IIMs.
She has total 6 years of work experience. In academics she has excellence in International Economics, Microeconomics and Macro Economics. She consists of research experience from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, an apex think tank of Ministry of Commerce and Industry. At IIFT, she has worked over various government and ministerial projects. In Academics she have experience of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad and The NorthCap University, Gurgaon. She has immense number of research papers and book reviews in esteemed journals, articles in magazines & newspapers and book chapters in book.
Dr. Namrata Anand, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra. Her research specialization is in International Economics, International Business, Development Economics and Sustainability. She has total 6 years of work experience. In academics she has excellence on International Economics, Microeconomics and Macro Economics. She consists of research experience from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, an apex think tank of Ministry of Commerce and Industry. At IIFT, she has worked over various government and ministerial projects. In Academics she have experience of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad and The NorthCap University, Gurgaon. Prof. Bala Saraswathi Atluri, MSW (PM & amp; I R), MBA(HR), MS-Data Science, Ph.D is a Professor of Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour and Business Analytics in ATLAS SkillTech University Maharashtra, India. Dr. Saraswathi has vast experience of 26 plus years and contributed extensively to the worlds of HR, Development sector and Education. She is also a founding member and President of a Research Organization by name “Centre for Social Research and Community Empowerment” which focusses on community related issues and develop models for Community Outreach Programs and implements for betterment of the community. Similarly, provides recommendations to the Policy makers from time to time. She is pioneer in developing Management Development Programs (MDP’s) and Executive Development Programs (EDP’s) in the field of management and also gained expertise in Capacity Building of People in general. She also has published more than 30 research articles in the category of Scopus and ADBC, with specific focus on Human resources. Under her guidance 3 Ph.D’s were awarded. Dr. Saraswathi Atluri has published a text book on “Talent Turnover Intention of Civil Engineers from India”, she is also an author for two books, one in Employee Engagement and another in Business Analytics with R Programming which are about to publish in couple of months.
